if you have difficulty remembering small scale situations, or if you find yourself most of the time asking questions like "just where did i leave that pen?" or "what was your name again?" Yes! you suffer from it!
at least i know that im not alone!

It's a common mental problem. Loss of activation (when you go to do something and forget what you were doing. ie goto the fridge and forget what you wanted to get) and problems recalling events that just happened.

I always forget where I leave something (like a book or a CD), I'm always searching it. But I think that it's 'cause I have my head in other place

I must let you know that you are indeed not alone. I too suffer from this problem probably just as much if not more than you do. Every day I mean. Sometimes I fear that it is due to a loss of brain cells from inhaling too many nail polish fumes, and that I will be completely brain-dead by the time I'm 40, or 20 even.

It happens to everyone, remembering name especially, does it count as short term memory loss? Beause it's like we can't remember everything from school's stuff like math, physic, all those (x-2)blablabla=Z³ etc.
So...
wait, what we're talking about?

Boss Stovila
i guess those you mentioned, like math, physics, etc....i think they fall under long term memory.....
somebody correct me if im wrong
btw, if you guys have a problem about memory...there is one guy out there that doesnt.......his memory capacity is so great! he remembers about 98% of what he does, encounters, experiences, sees, hears, etc.....and because of that he was known as the world's walking encyclopedia....he can even tell the exact day you were born...given the year date and month.......check him out at wiki....his name's Kim Peek
btw, if you've watched Rainman (a 1988 movie by dustin hoffman & tom cruise), hmmm...Rainman is inspired by Kim's personal Life

If I'm not wron, Hoffman's character in that movie was autistic. It's known that autistic people is more intelligent that normal people.

when it comes to school, my short term memory is pretty good. but long term memory isn't that good, so i feel like... i'm not making the most of my classes.
the things i tend to forget are like... what's today's date, what day of the week is it.. i think that was because i didn't get enough sleep at the time.

That happens
all the time when you're working in kitchens. I thought it was the heat.

Ange, no he was not autistic; he was classified as what psychologists would call an Idiot Savant.
