hello to all you seniors and fellow newbs in the DAI forum!

Glad to be able to join a DAI forum with an international fanbase!
im 20/M/Singaporean
i first heard of DAI like many of us SG-ers, from the Japanese serial "Love 2000", but didn't really take the band seriously. In fact, most of my friends bought Break of Dawn after that and became fans of the band temporarily. Why "temporarily"? It seems some people forgotten about DAI after the first album, except a select few of my guitar playing mates who played DAI songs during our jam sessions. It is during one such a jam session that i heard a pal play the intro of "Honjitsu wa seiten nari". Now that really turned on my curiosity as that song ROCKED. And then i started the usual fan process of "buy-every-album before "GATES OF HEAVEN", learn to play the songs" process.

What attracts me to DAI had also been the songwriting ability of DAI's leader Dai Nagao. Many of their songs had lyrics that left you thinking, as well as guitar parts that were simply constructed but sounded huge.

I didn't join the forums until now, for i prefered to just "read" stuff here. But with DAI disbanding, lots of questions, discussions and new interests have been raised as a result, thus i decided to join. (I had pretty bad experiences with forums of other bands).

My primary musical interests are rock and the blues, while i have interests in soul and reggae as well.
