Aww!! I want to be back in Japan...sorta! I'm finally back in the US (was unable to find another job). Come to the US, DAI!! Come to the US!! Go to NY again!!! I would die happy if I could see just one DAI performance in my life!!

I hope they're putting out a DVD of one of the concerts, since I can't just up and go back there and I hope that with first-press releases, you can get some of the "goods" that were at the concerts. T_T
That aside, I really hope that the original GTB comes back at some point to do one concert with Ryo and Van someday. I'd be even happier if Dai came back for one concert, but that's just wishful thinking. I think I'll go listen to EIGHT again, now, since I can't go to any of the performances. *cries* |

Just got back from the concert!
Awesome show! Same set list as posted above, minus Wonderful Life for some reason. Maybe cause they were running a little late? Anyway, the songs on Eight sound amazing live! Baby Baby Baby was the perfect way to kick off the set. Ban-chan playing guitar for Dear Memories was great, too. Guess I'm a sucker for chicks playing guitar, lol. However, despite the concert being about Eight, the most memorable performance for me was Kagaku no Yoru. Ban-chan sang with such passion, and Ryo's wailing guitar... wow it just gave me chills. Overall this concert was excellent! If I had one complaint, it was that the sound balance was a little off. The guitars were a little too loud, so Ban-chan's voice sounded a little soft at times. And because it was so loud, it was pretty brutal on the ears lol. Oh, and I thought the chorus chick was pretty hot lol. |

It was actually a pretty small venue, so standing room only. I was really close to the stage - close enough to see the chords they were playing on the guitar. I believe this is a live house tour only, so the show you're going to is probably going to be the same format, maybe just a little bigger. Standing for over two hours is a bitch, but it's worth it. |
