I bet you Obama's reaction was "wtf?", it restricts his options in world affairs (I have a feeling he likes to have all options at his disposal), it was probably the committee's goal to prevent him from expanding old wars or starting new ones (think Iran) so basically I would suggest taking a step back and asking why. I just think it's premature. he has wonderful ideas and intentions, like the nuclear disarmament deal with russia, but they need to be put into play first before he wins awards as esteemed as the nobel peace prize.

Uhm,i think he's proper to get that price like nobel!
No one didn't know bout him, the whole world has a different reaction!
I though,USA have a problem with war,war,n war!
Like Irak,Argentina,gaza,and a lot of bout east asia! What's wrong with them?? Al-qaeda?? Please don't try to shattered that country as like a toys!

Im so proud,because he's tryin to stop it one by one with no matter what ready to take serious risk.

Maybe...
Or he have a secret plans?

Nobel Peace Prize is now a joke.

Obama is expanding the war in Afghanistan and he gets a Peace Prize? He also set a target date of 2011 to pullout but I think he'll be reluctant to pullout. However, I say his tone on foreign policy is better than GWB but that's not saying much.

I dunno if there are any fans of Ron Paul here but I think his view of the war is right on. There really is no plan to pullout and it's a huge burden on the deficit. High deficits and high spending from Obama is not gonna do the economy any good and if the current trend continues, everyone's gonna be billionaires. rolling.gif

why is being a billionaire bad?

oh it's not bad............

at least not until you have to pay $1 million for a Big Mac meal at McD's. rolling.gif
ok this example may be too extreme and I don't think it's gonna happen but if the spending and high deficits continue, it's gonna happen.

If the day has come when you need to pay $1 M for each meal at Mc.D, I am not a billionaire since my car will worth as much as twenty trillions lol.
