Yeah. They were known as ANTINOBUNAGA back in the day. They played I think two years without Maakii.

To be completely honest, I kind of expected Maakii to be the first to leave. They had to practically beg her to join the band. She had other dreams than to be in a band. Maybe this marriage is just an excuse to leave the band and do her own thing?

I just hope she does go solo...But not end up like Tomiko.
But as long as there is still information about her I will be fine.
I just need to get my fill of Maakii-ness once in a while.

New news article regarding Maakii's graduation.

Basically, most of the article is what we already know (Maakii getting married to Nakamura, HandMC's history, etc). However, there are a few parts that caught my eye.

HandMC intends to break into a new era, a "rebirth" in a sense. In order to have this rebirth, they are planning to have a new vocalist. Auditions supposedly start next year.

秋には新曲を緊急発売し、マーキーの卒業イベントも計画している。新妻は「最後まで精一杯歌いたい」。卒業まで6か月、完全燃焼するつもりだ。

They are urgently working on a new song to release in the fall. Maakii says she will "sing with all of her might until the very end". There are also plans to have an event for Maakii's graduation.

We pretty much figured they would go out and get a new lead singer.

I wonder if this "graduation" will be like a big final concert, like DAI had. Guess we'll have to wait and see on that.
